Training Facility in Alliance, Ohio. This course is about fighting with
the 5.56x45mm carbine, and the training is geared toward that specific
skill set. This is not a shooting course—it is a fighting course.

This course
immediately precedes the 9/29 – 10/01 Carbine Operators Course in Smithfield NC.
This is not a factory armorers class—it has different goals. This class was
originally designed for a federal agency to teach firearms instructor
coordinators, instructors and operators the best way to keep the AR system running.
It will teach you how the AR system works, how to prevent problems, how to
solve problems they arise, etc.

This course is being hosted by LWRC International
at ATS’ Camp Ares Training Center, Altha, FL.
This LWRC Carbine Course is specifically
for those who own/are contemplating owning an LWRC gun. There will be
loaner guns available for those that want to test drive one. If you
don’t own an LORC or want to shoot one, you may run other platforms,
but class seating preference will go to those that are.
The format follows the Carbine
Operators Course, but has a lecture portion given by the wizards from
LWRC and relating to the LORC piston gun. There will also be a “Fam”
fire the afternoon of TD1 where the students will have an opportunity
to shoot all the LWRC products.
The course will require a minimum
of 1,200 rds of carbine and 100 rds of pistol ammunition.
ATS Camp Ares Fees
-$25 per day range fee = $75.00
-75 per day for food and lodging. This
fee includes housing in one of the facility’s 4 man cabins, full bath/shower
facility, laundry facility, wireless internet service, satellite TV
and 3 catered meals a day. You areinvited to spend the night before
and the night after the class at no additional charge. You are welcome
to go it on your own, but you will esily spend $75 a day just on your
hotel fees.
