Pistol 1 is a Basic Pistol Class that covers the fundamentals of
using the pistol. The thrust of this course is for the shooter to
become familiar with basic marksmanship, manipulations and positions.
While not necessarily a fighting class, the basic skill sets learned
will build a foundation for the defensive use of the pistol.
Distance will be from near contact to 25 yards
There are no requirements for this class
Equipment
A serviceable pistol/revolver., 38 Special / 9x19mm or larger
3 magazines / Speed loaders
A strong side hip holster. Inside the waistband holsters, shoulder
holsters and fanny bags are not permitted
A magazine pouch to hold at least one magazine
750 rounds of serviceable ammunition
Eye and ear pro
Baseball type hat
Sunscreen
Insect repellant
Clothing appropriate for the season
Full payment is requested 30 days prior to the class date, unless
other arrangements have been made
In accordance with International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) Regulations, only U.S. Citizens will be accepted to participate in E.A.G. Tactical courses.
